Welcome to Main Street Children's Ministry
At Main Street Baptist Church, we love and value children and families. We join you in one of the most important tasks: The spiritual growth of your child. We believe that every child is a special gift from God. We understand that each stage of childhood is different. We design our ministries to meet your child where he or she is.
Our ministry does not stop with your child. We want to minister to your entire family. Our prayer is that all in your family will grow in their relationship with Christ and He will be Lord and Savior over your lives. We believe that family is the most important influence in a child's life. Therefore, we want to do everything we can to encourage and support your family.

Ministries for Children
We are committed to teaching children about Jesus and helping children grow in their faith. We provide opportunities for children to develop real relationships that affirm that they are loved and valued. It is important to us to enhance the children’s learning through student to student interaction, experiences and active games. Find out the many ways you and your child can be a part of our children’s ministries.

Sunday School
Birth-Age 2
Our nursery is fully staffed and equipped to handle all of the needs a newborn and young toddler may need. It is located on the first floor of our Day Care building.

Ages 2-Pre-K
Preschool Sunday School ages 2, 3, and 4 yrs. We have a class that is perfect for the preschool member of your family. Classes are designed to meet the developmental levels of the children. There are hands–on activities to learn the Bible lesson. It is located on the second floor of our Day Care building.

Elementary Sunday School Our K-5th Grade children participate in a hands-on and interactive time of learning. The elementary classes are located on the second floor of the Day Care building and are divided into the following age groups: K-2nd, and 3rd-5th.

Children's Church
We offer a weekly kids' church during our 11:00am worship time. All children grades K-3rd are invited to join their parents for worship as a family, then head off to a specially designed service just for them around 11:20am. Kids' church will be held in room D-204 located in the Day Care building. Parents may pick their children up there at the end of the adult service.

Mid-Week Children's Programs
KIDS TOWN
"Kids Town" meets every Wednesday night from 7:00pm-8:00pm and features a "Downtown" for 1 & 2 year olds, a "Midtown" for 3-5 year olds and an "Uptown" for 1st-5th graders. Each week kids will discover Christ in a high energy, interactive environment of music, crafts, snacks, games, lessons and more. We want every student to have a fun and exciting experience as they learn more about God and grow in their faith.
